When a stain will not fully leave
Some stains improve and stop. Knowing that before the job is the difference between a result and an argument.
The usual ghosts
Old oil in concrete, deep tannin, rust that is still being fed by a sprinkler, chalked oxidation, and etched bird droppings all have a ceiling. The first look should include that ceiling.
Test spots
A small area gets treated first when the stain or the surface is uncertain. If the test is not good enough, the rest of the wall does not get the same experiment at full scale.

Chemical-free, like-new, and guaranteed gone are not phrases this company uses. The surface decides. If a wash would waste the money, the recommendation is to leave it or to repair it.
