Project notes

What the work looks like.

The kind of house

Brick, columns, and a porch

Painted brick and a porch that has to look finished from the street. Soft wash, not a blast across the mortar.

Shingles

A roof that should stay a roof

Architectural shingles under trees. The streaks are algae. They come off with a soft wash, not a nozzle on the granules.

Water

Docks before the weekend

Piers, slips, and the boards people walk. The wash stays on the structure. The lake is not the drain.

Winter

Lights on the eaves

Warm white on a real house, clipped and taken down. Not a carnival, and not left up until March.

Commercial

The front twenty feet

Glass, brick, and the walk a customer stands on. Done before the door opens.

Hardscape

Deck around the water

Stone and concrete at a pool. The rinse is aimed away from the water. Furniture goes back where it lives.

Winter

The trough, then the downspout

Leaves out, then a flush through the elbow. One visit covers both. A separate downspout trip is not a second service.

Wood

A porch that still gets used

Screens, floor, and the trim around them. Washed so the mesh stays in the spline.
