House calls
The odd jobs, booked like a private visit.
Not a flyer of forty-nine-dollar specials. You send the list. We tell you whether it is a half day or a day. One arrival, from the same company that already knows not to scar the brick.
House calls are the short list on a property Alton is already trusted with: assembly, hanging, patches, doors, caulk, a fence board, clip-on lights. He does not open electrical panels, pull new circuits, or work on gas lines or sewer. Height work is a lift job, quoted separately, not a ladder guess.
Handyman house call
A half day or a full day for the list on the fridge. One arrival, one standard.
Furniture assembly
Beds, tables, and the flat boxes that have been in the guest room since the delivery.
TV, mirror, and art hanging
A gallery wall or a television, hung level, into studs, at a height that looks intended.
Drywall patch and touch-up
Doorknob holes, old bracket scars, and the small patches that keep a room from looking rented.
Door adjustment and hardware
Doors that stick, latches that do not catch, and hardware that looks tired on an otherwise serious entry.
Ceiling fan and light swaps
Like-for-like fans and fixtures on existing boxes. No new circuits.
Pre-guest punch list
The short list before family, a wedding weekend, or a houseful at the lake.
Mailbox and post repair
A leaning post, a door that will not shut, or a mailbox that was clipped and never quite fixed.
Send the fridge list.
We answer with half day or full day before anyone is on the calendar.
