photos for a pressure washing quote

The photos that make a quote honest

Stand back for the whole wall. Then get close to the stain. Send the worst side. A flattering front elevation is how quotes go wrong.

One wide photo of each side, in daylight, plus a close photo of the worst stain, is enough for most houses. If the roof is in question, stand back far enough that we can see the streaks and the condition of the shingles. If the driveway has oil or clay, photograph it dry. Wet concrete hides everything.

Tell us the town, the material if you know it, and anything you are worried we will hurt. That is the brief. We would rather have four honest photos than twenty of the front door.

For a listing, send the date the photographer comes. For a lift, send the side yards so we can see whether a machine can sit there. For a house call, send the list, not a hint. The quote can only be as honest as the pictures.

The service this belongs to is Pre-listing curb appeal.

In the towns we actually drive to

Include the town and a note about plants, a pool, or a dog door. Those change the day more than the color of the brick.
