house wash bleach percentage
Why we will not advertise one mix percentage
Trade practice is a diluted solution, weaker on paint and stronger on heavy organic growth. A single number on a website would be a false promise.
People ask for the percentage because they have read a forum. The honest answer is a range, not a slogan. On painted siding and vinyl, a professional mix is diluted well below straight pool chlorinator. On a roof with heavy algae, the mix is often stronger than a house wall, and it is still not “straight bleach.” The right strength is the weakest one that kills the growth without chewing the surface.
Publishing “we always use X percent” would be a lie the first week a chalking paint or a brand-new cedar wall showed up. We test our eyes on the surface, sometimes a small area, and we adjust. You are welcome to ask, on your job, what we are applying and why it is not hotter. That conversation happens at the property. It does not fit in a badge on the homepage.
If another company leads with a dramatic percentage, ask them what they do when the paint is already failing. A number is not a method. The method is: identify the surface, kill organic growth, rinse, and switch products when the stain is rust, clay, or oil.
The service this belongs to is House soft washing.
In the towns we actually drive to
Two houses on the same street can need different strength. Paint age and shade decide it, not the ZIP code.
